Accounting Openings

Now recruiting candidates for multiple Accounting positions in the Tri-County area, including Full Charge Bookkeeper, Commercial Credit Clerk, Accounts Receivable and Accounting Clerks.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-5 years hands on experience in accounting and/or at minimum an Associate’s degree in a related field along with solid working knowledge of basic accounting transactions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash Applications and Collections.  The ability to multi-task autonomously as well as part of a team with a high degree of accuracy is a MUST.

Cost Accounting and/or Construction Industry experience is a plus.  Proficiency in MS Excel along with experience in the SAP, MAS90, Oracle and QuickBooks platforms are highly desirable.  Candidates with extensive experience on Apple products and QuickBooks for Mac are also wanted.

Part Time Payroll Assistant

Charles Foster is now recruiting for a part time Payroll Assistant in the North Charleston area.  Must have QB knowledge as well as general accounting knowledge.  Strong communication skills are needed to interact with clients by phone and email.  Hours will be 16-20 per week.

Staff Accountant

Charles Foster has an immediate opening for an entry level Staff Accountant in the North Charleston Area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate MUST have at minimum, an Associate’s degree in Accounting with 2+ years of professional accounting experience.

Qualified candidates will be professional and confident individuals with strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills as well as will possess the following:

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Accounting problem solving skills
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel
  • Experience with MAS90/100 is a MUST

Duties include but are not limited to:

AP posting and check runs, deposits, processing credit card payments, receiving/sorting mail, handling customer inquiries, AR billings and collections.
