INTEGRATOR – ETL DEVELOPER
Responsibilities include:
Data Integration
Understand, design and implement data integration flows:
• Physical data models
• Transaction and batch based integration
• Validation, Verification, correlation and aggregation processes (e.g. ETL) w/specific emphasis on distributed data processing (DDP) schemes
Data Management
• Data audit, Archiving, Restoration schemes in a multi-customer environment guide by SAS70 and other compliance and data security standards
Data Presentation
Application development
• Implement custom rule based data transformation processes utilizing Java, Perl and DBMS based tools
Required
• 2-5 yrs. exper. Using ETL tools – Informatica, Talend, Oracle, etc.
• 5-8 yrs. Exper. With commercial; databases – MySQL, Oracle, BD2
• Exper. In building or interfacing to high volume transaction mgmt. systems
• Exper. In data warehousing and biz intelligence as an ETL developer (custom and tools exper.)
• Physical data architecture – design, modeling, integration and reporting exper.
• Data modeling tools exper. (Erwin, etc.)
• Data access tools exper. (TOAD, etc.)
• Expert SQL design and tuning skills
• Some DBA (RBDMS) exper.
• Exper. Working as an implementation team member w/critical indiv. Contribution
• Exper. w/various SDLC methodologies
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline
Preferred
• Exper. Designing and implementing data mgmt. infrastructure for large volume financial data processing services or other software as a service
• 1-3 years Java programming experience
• Exper. as a prof’l svc. Consultant for a commercial; ETL tool co. such as Talend, Informatica, etc.
• Exper. In consulting firms, IT consulting practices and prof’l svc. orgs. in enterprise software companies
• Some actg. Knowledge (basic acctg. principles, corp. financial reports (P&L, Balance sheet, Gen’l ledger)
This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be a full time employee.
Must live within commuting distance of Charleston, SC or be willing to relocate (telecommuting is not an option).
Some travel to company headquarters on the West Coast required.

LEAD CUSTOM ENGINEERS
West Coast-based company with a global reach seeks Lead (Custom) Engineers for its Charleston site.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop front- and middle-tier components for high-volume data processing applications in digital media.
• Work closely with our core product team to integrate our latest base tools and engines with custom data transformation, user management, process control and transaction management interfaces.
Qualifications:
Required
• 5 years of hands-on development using .NET and C# in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
• 5 years’ experience creating data-driven applications with database platforms, preferably MySQL
• 5 years experience with front end protocols such as JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XHTML and XML
• Demonstrable ability to translate customer requirements into designs, estimate work effort, and deliver features to schedules and deadlines
• Extensive B2B application development experience
• Production of clear, concise, well thought out technical designs using Object Orientated design techniques conforming to the established technical architecture
• Must have strong object oriented design, relational model design, and problem solving skills
• Candidate must be able to work independently on projects assigned
• Experience with entire SDLC
Preferred
• Experience with other non-Microsoft technologies (e.g. Java) is highly desirable
• Prior consulting or professional services (NOT contractor) experience highly desirable and will be given priority
• Previous experience working in digital media and/or internet financial transactions
• Project management experience
