Oracle Software Engineer ES4 Using your extensive knowledge of Oracle tools, you will develop software to implement upgrade Oracle EBS R11 to R12 or higher environment. You will analyze, design, develop, test and implement interactive pages, components, and PL/SQL. You will create and maintain Application and batch processes. You will use your strong written and verbal communication skills to convey your design and project progress. You are a self-starter who takes on advanced tasks with minimal supervision and functions well in a team environment.

 Basic Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or Physical Science.

 Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of task specific project. Note: Experience may be concurrent. This position requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ Continuing Education Certification prior to start and the correct Computing Environment Certification within 18 months of start. We are seeking an Oracle Applications Database Administrator to work in Charleston, SC. The Oracle Application Database Administrator will provide installation and support for the upgrade process from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 E-business suite. The suite is tightly integrated with Oracle Single-Sign-On, Oracle BIEE, RMAN and Grid Control technologies. This individual will be involved in planning, implementing, and upgrading the Oracle Apps 12 suite, sizing for multiple environments, applying of Oracle patches, implementing and maintaining database and application security, perform daily backups and recover database in event of any data corruption. This individual provides hands-on technical leadership and direction to the technology team, understands business challenges and translates them into process/technical solutions. Good Oracle ERP Knowledge for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with task specific project, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in relevant technical field. Must have at least five (5) years of experience (can be concurrent) as a subject matter expert with specific practical and functional knowledge. At least 3 years of proven Oracle ERP implementation and end user environment working experience. We are seeking a Systems Engineer (ES2) to work in Charleston, SC.  To be successful in position, the candidate will work with the customer and program Chief Engineer to determine Service Level requirements and to quantify users’ expectations. Working within SCRUM teams, the candidate will also analyze the current capacity to determine how it is meeting the needs of the users. The candidate will also continually monitor and forecast future business activity, future system requirements and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer concerning needed changes to the environment to meet forecasted demand. If recommendations are approved, the candidate will be responsible to work with other program members to develop an implementation plan for inclusion in the programs Master Integrated Schedule.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements. Three (3) years of technical experience in support of task specific project. Note: Experience may be concurrent. Demonstrated experience with Computer Hardware and Software Timing and Sizing, UNIX/Linus operating systems, Performance Monitoring, Scaling, Availability and hardware architecture related to enterprise systems. Security + Required. Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance, an Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.

The Programmer Analyst will work with the Business Analyst, System Engineers, and Test Engineers to upgrade Oracle EBS R11 to R12. Existing customizations will be examined and where possible native R12 functionality will be used to reduce the number of custom objects. Additionally, existing system defects will be analyzed, prioritized and fixed in accordance with approved software lifecycle processes an integrated into R12 baseline. Moreover, system suitability and usability issues with the current system will be evaluated and resolved based on customer priorities. 

 Using knowledge of Oracle tools, the Programmer Analyst will develop software to implement an upgrade from Oracle EBS R11 to R12 or higher environment. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Systems/Equipment Support, and Test and Evaluation support of requirements. One (1) year of technical experience in support of task specific project. Note: Experience may be concurrent. This position requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II – Requires correct Computing Environment Certification be obtained within 18 months of start. DoD Secret Security Clearance Required (Interim to start).

Experience working with SPAWAR. An advanced degree in engineering is highly desirable.
